New Worldwide Record of Filippo Magnini!

Filippo Magnini, New Worldwide Record – 100 meters in freestyle

Aquamore is proud to congratulate Filippo Magnini for setting a new world record in the 100-meter Freestyle, M40 category. This extraordinary achievement was reached during the Herbalife Italian Masters Championships, held in Riccione at the Swimming Stadium, with a time of 50.73 seconds (breaking the previous world record of 51.21 seconds held by Japanese swimmer Hideaki Hara, which dated back to 2019).

Filippo’s first words after the record, shared with the Italian Swimming Federation:

“It’s a bit emotional, because swimming the 100 freestyle still feels so exciting. A master is a dreamer who works hard to achieve the goals they set. This is the race that made me fall in love with swimming, and to be able to do it in this pool where I’ve swum hundreds of times is truly special.”

In the morning, he also won the 50-meter Breaststroke, M40 category, with a personal best of 28.94 seconds.
